Dornoch Model Fair takes place on Saturday 2nd October. The show is held at Dornoch Academy and the doors open from 11:00 - 17:00hrs. Models of all sorts and scale will be on display. This year a special charity raffle has been organized in memory of Alan Campbell who sadly passed away in July. Alan was the driver of the Norscot International Scania R Series Topline. The prize is a Tekno Norscot model with the No1 certificate.

Aberdeen haulier Nicol of Skene Ltd is the latest model to be announced from Speedbird Promotions as part of the Tekno British Collection range. Due for release next year in February 2011. The model will feature a Scania R Series Topline (6x2) and a 3 axle Meiller bulk tipping trailer. Price is expected to be £135 including free delivery.

Speedbird Promotions has announced details of the latest model to be part of the Tekno British Collection. Due for release in December 2010, the Scania R Series Topline and curtainside trailer in the famous colours of Aberdeen based haulier V.G. Mathers Ltd. This model follows the success of the earlier Tekno release for V.G. Mathers from 2008, the Scania 3 Series Streamliner. The model is priced at £150 with free delivery.

Premium Collectable Models are going to announce details of a new model very soon. The model in question will be a M.A.N TGX (XXL) and Nooteboom Telestep trailer with a windwill blade load. The livery will be well known English heavy haulage company Collett Heavy Haulage. Only 100 models will be produced so the model will be very limited. Model News - Corgi have released details of the October 2010 - March 2011 range. Models that will feature include the following companies. McGeowan International, John Hulston Haulage Ltd, R.T. Keedwell plus many others. Castings include Scania Toplines, Scania 141 and Volvo FH's.

Model News - Search Impex have announced two new future WSI model releases. Both models will be from Aberdeen based hauliers. First model is the stunning Mercedes Benz Actros & flatbed trailer in the well known colours of Freeland Freight Services Ltd. The second model is a DAF XF105 Super Space Cab & flatbed trailer in the livery of W & H Leslie. Both models are expected late 2010 / early 2011
